Support MWC on #GivingTuesday & Join Us for a Free Workshop

The Midwest Writing Center will be participating in this year’s #GivingTuesday to kick off our year-end fundraising drive for our 2018 general operations and programming schedule, which includes our annual Writers’ Conference, Children’s Literature Festival, YEW Internship Program and Middle School Camp, SPECTRA Poetry Reading Series, and many more events and opportunities.

We are thrilled to announce that we have a donor who will match every donation we receive as part of our #GivingTuesday campaign, dollar for dollar, up to $3,000! That means your contributions will be doubled—it’s a gift that gives twice!

Please consider a contribution to MWC on #GivingTuesday as part of your year-end giving, or as a gift to family or friends who are writers and/or lovers of the written word—all donations $25 and up will receive 1-year memberships, or membership renewals, to MWC.

Also, on #GivingTuesday, author/publisher Jodie Toohey will lead a free one-hour beginning writing workshop (more info below)

We had a a fantastic response to last year’s #GivingTuesday campaign, and we hope this year we can match or exceed that response. Thanks for considering Midwest Writing Center in your end-of-year charitable donations.
