After completing a strategic planning process in early 2015, the MWC Board of Directors decided it needed another way to help ensure MWC’s sustainability well into the future. MWC already has two endowments with the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend, but in the summer of 2015, it voted to create a Legacy Society to encourage lasting financial support and honor those who have pledged to support MWC through final giving. Joining the society is simple—just let us know that you’ve arranged to give to MWC.

To tell you more about the Legacy Society, Barb Melbourne from the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend will be joining us on November 5th starting at 5:30 p.m., to answer any questions. We will be serving wine and cheese. The event is free, though we do ask for an RSVP to 563-324-1410 or mwc@midwestwritingcenter.org by no later than Monday, November 2nd, if you’re planning to attend.
