The Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers of MWC join so many people in our community in grieving the loss of the great Dr. Roald Tweet, Augustana College professor emeritus, celebrated radio personality, and champion of the written word.

Dr. Tweet served on the MWC Board of Directors for several years, and was a long-time supporter of writing & literacy in the Quad Cities. He was a singular figure in our community, who educated & encouraged so many people to be more thoughtful, more kind, and more open to the world. We will be forever grateful for his dedication, his friendship, and his example, which will continue one in the lives of all the people touched by his light.
