Therese Guise is an artist and writer. Ms. Guise has a Bachelor of Arts, in Studio Art, from Northern Illinois University. At N.I.U., she studied illustration, painting, drawing, and printmaking.

She works in lino-cut illustration and watercolor/mixed media.

Ms. Guise studied writing with Judy Bridges, and State of Wisconsin and City of Milwaukee Poet Laureate, Marilyn Taylor, Ph.D. Her writing strengths include proofreading (text, graphics, and MLA Style), copy editing (Associated Press, Hamilton Publishing, and Chicago Manual Style), research, and poetry.

Therese Guise specializes in proofreading, copy editing, blogging, research, and art. She has proofread text, graphics, poetry, and post-secondary dissertation drafts. As a copy editor, she has Associated Press Style experience and familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style. She also has experience writing personal histories (family histories), as well experience with fact-checking and research. She uses her experience in the medical field, as a professional and a patient, to write a wellness blog: BeWellandB12.
