National Novel Writing Month has just ended, and you have a first draft of a novel—what should you do next? Award-winning author and editor Misty Urban is here to help, with a free, hour-long intensive workshop to help for aspiring authors who are looking for help with the next steps on their road to publication.

Workshop Description:

So very many people who want to create a book simply have no idea what it entails; they know what the finished product should look like, but not what goes into its creation. I propose this presentation as a resource for aspiring authors to give them an overview. The map will be basic and high-level but the goal is to give authors advance warning of what they will encounter on the journey. The presentation portion will last 40-45 minutes, with time for questions from participants at the end.
