Any author who has published a book knows that writing “The End” at the end of the book, really means- “The Beginning”. Besides all the publishing tasks of editing, covers and interiors, there is the marketing piece. Selling a book is not matter of, “Write it and they will come,” there needs to be a solid marketing plan. This takes planning and strategy. When does marketing a book begin? The short answer is “Yesterday.” So, let’s get started!

In this workshop, participants will learn how to market their book from online strategies, social media, to book signings and how to leverage your book at conferences to buyers. Whether you are traditionally publishing or self-publishing, having an effective and realistic marketing plan is essential. The good news is that does not have to cost more than your mortgage, the bad news is there can be money pits that should be avoided. In this workshop you will learn to create a budget and a marketing plan that can be implemented immediately.

The strategies presented have helped a number of authors not only reach bestseller status in their genres, but book sales beyond their expectations.
